Guardian is Brik's proprietary hardware protection layer running on a dedicated STM32H7 chip completely independent from the main compute. It monitors your speaker output in real time using dedicated current and voltage sensing and a physics based voice coil thermal model. When you first connect your speakers Guardian asks for their impedance, RMS rating, and sensitivity, then calculates their exact safe power envelope and enforces it at hardware level. Turn the volume as high as you want. Guardian decides what actually reaches your speakers. It is fully customisable, adjust thresholds, build custom speaker profiles, or turn it off entirely if you choose. Because Guardian runs on its own dedicated chip it never goes offline even if the rest of Brik crashes.

Hydra is Brik's proprietary unified external cable system. Instead of running separate cables for AC power input, left speaker output, right speaker output, and subwoofer output, Hydra consolidates all of them into one single EMI shielded braided harness. One cable out of the back of Brik. Clean desk. No cable chaos. No interference between power and audio signals. Hydra is functional infrastructure designed to make your setup as clean as the device itself.

Brik Desk includes HDMI and also eARC, USB Type C, USB Type A, Ethernet, a 3.5mm auxiliary port, Zigbee for smart home device control, onboard full range drivers for immediate audio without external speakers, amplified stereo output for external bookshelf speakers, a dedicated subwoofer output, a physical privacy shutter on the camera, tactile power and microphone buttons, and a customisable volume dial. The Hydra cable handles AC power and all speaker connections through one unified external harness.
